The Smile Project needs help with program development, sponsorship, and implementation.

 

If you have:
  • Monastic background
  • knowledge of Nepali/Bhutanese/Sikkimese culture
  • teaching skills (story-telling, story-writing, poetry, and/or illustration)
  • ESL skills
  • translation skills (Nepali, Dzongkha, Sharchhop, Tibetan, Sikkimese, Lepcha)
  • publishing knowledge
  • and/or simply a passion to help bring reading, writing, poetry, and/or illustration to monks and nuns

The Smile Project needs you!

 

If you are a Publisher interested in:
  • providing guidance on manuscript text/illustration
  • donating storybooks (either for instruction or to begin monastery libraries, or both)
  • publishing a MonastLit manuscript(s)
  • and/or Smile Project sponsorship
